Library building project clears $705K in June vendor costs

Westborough library building project spending reaches $8.8 million as contingency reserves near depletion. Under the leadership of Chair Maureen Amyot, the Library Building Committee unanimously approved a $705,569.93 vendor invoice package for June, with all 11 committee members voting in favor and contingency reserves 86 percent exhausted. Construction continues on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, millwork, slate roof, interior tile, and acoustical ceiling work.
The project targets substantial completion on September 24, 2026.
