Westborough Select Board approves weekend construction hours for high school roof project. Superintendent Alison Borcher and project manager Steve Theron reported unforeseen engineering challenges have delayed construction; the Board unanimously approved Saturday and Sunday work hours from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. to maintain schedule. In other business, the Board unanimously approved a liquor license transfer for Aavino Wine and Spirits, a one-day permit for Westborough Connects' Aug. 30 event, and an easement for Massachusetts Electric Company at 20 Phillips Street.
However, the Board failed to appoint George Bahnan to the Economic Development Committee in a 2-2-0 vote.
