Active Transportation & Safety Committee · Meeting of July 6, 2026

Westborough transportation panel endorses East Main Street path redesign. The Active Transportation and Safety Committee supports the Shared Use Path project and recommends significant design changes including expanded path width to 10 feet, railings under Route 9, and redesigned Route 30 crossings with perpendicular bike queues. The committee also recommended relocating the crossing westward to align with Route 30 and installing a synchronized traffic light.
