Committee seeks working group to improve inter-board communications

Westborough seeks inter-board working group on active transportation. The Active Transportation and Safety Committee voted unanimously to request Select Board approval of a working group including the Planning Board, Department of Public Works, Planning Department, Police Department, and School Department to improve communication on active transportation issues. Ellen Gugel, committee chair, and Julie Squires will present the proposal to the Select Board.
The request came after the Select Board removed an ATSC warrant article from the March town meeting.
