Westborough Active Transportation Committee elects first Vice Chair, announces $130,000 planning grant. Chair Ellen Gugel's committee unanimously created the Vice Chair position and nominated Julie Squires to the newly established role. The committee also announced receipt of a $130,000 active transportation grant, allocating $125,000 for consultant work and $5,000 to reserve.
A project kickoff meeting is scheduled for June 16 at 2:30 p.m. The committee discussed downtown rotary improvements and proposed amendments to its mission statement but deferred votes to the next meeting on July 6.
