Westborough Select Board appoints five to Fire Chief Search Committee. The Board unanimously appointed James McLaughlin, a retired Franklin Fire Chief, Sarah Murphy of Amazon Robotics, Dexter Blois, Matt Mullen, and Dana Haagensen to the six-member panel, with Select Board Member Shelby Marshall also serving. Town Manager Kristi Williams confirmed that Matt Mullen's disclosed employment with a Fire Department services vendor does not constitute a conflict of interest, and the committee is expected to complete the municipal leadership search by early September.
