Westborough Treatment Plant Board approves $443K in vendor payments. Chairman Mike Stanton and Treasurer Fran Holloway led the board to unanimously authorize $443,188.76 in invoices and payroll, including $214,771.25 to Barletta for headworks construction. During preconstruction inspection, the grit tank was found with a broken tail shaft and grit screw resting on the concrete trough, potentially requiring new equipment.
The board also unanimously renewed an IPP permit for the Town of Shrewsbury Landfill.
