Sustainable Westborough advances climate initiatives with roadmap approval and grant application

WESTBOROUGH — Sustainable Westborough committee reports approval of decarbonization roadmap and climate grant application. Chair Jeff Levine presided as the committee reported that both the Select Board and School Committee have approved its Decarbonization Roadmap, with the town's official Climate Leader grant application submitted by the June deadline. Members voted 5-0-1 to approve an $880 budget for EV Expo materials.
Sustainability Coordinator Leila Ahmed reported that equipment for the Green Communities Grant has arrived and a Comprehensive Building Assessment for Mill Pond School has begun.
