WESTBOROUGH — Treatment Plant Board approves nearly $441,000 in June expenses. Chairman Mike Stanton's board unanimously authorized $440,502.62 in invoices and payroll, including $349,080.40 to Veolia for monthly operations and insurance premiums of $1,426 for the Headwork Building and $1,069 for the Compost Building. Administrator Darlene Domingos reported a headworks preconstruction meeting would follow immediately with Tighe & Bond, AECOM, Barletta, and Veolia.
Plant Manager Keith Labbe said Tighe & Bond has completed final engineering drawings for the TWAS pump project sludge piping modifications, allowing the board to move forward on procurement. McCord Development is exploring taking over the industrial facility formerly occupied by Cytiva.
