WESTBOROUGH — The Westborough Treatment Plant Board voted to authorize payment to Waterline and approved warrant language for the headworks project at its January 14 meeting. The Board, led by Chairman Mike Stanton, voted unanimously to approve $443,513.31 in outstanding invoices, $241,160.29 to Waterline including 4 percent retainage release, and invoices for Veolia, National Grid, and AECOM totaling nearly $1.1 million. The Board authorized a comprehensive third-party investigation by MSI into failed rotors and approved switching to a Dodge gearbox.
It voted unanimously to approve warrant language for the headworks project with an $11 million placeholder pending final costs.
