Select Board enters executive session on litigation

Westborough Select Board convenes briefly for executive session. Chair Ian Johnson called the Tuesday morning meeting to order at 9:01 AM with four of five members present; Vice Chair Shelby Marshall was absent. Member Sean Keogh moved immediately to enter Executive Session to address eight litigation matters involving Ferris Development Group, Westborough SPE, CarMax Auto Superstores, and others, along with real property negotiations and collective bargaining strategy with police and firefighter unions.
Chair Johnson declared open discussion would harm the town's legal position. The motion passed unanimously, 4-0-0.
