Select Board approves design contract amendments for Community Center project

WESTBOROUGH — Select Board authorizes Community Center design expansion and interior project scope. Chair Sean Keogh, Vice Chair Mark Silverberg, Members Ian Johnson, Shelby Marshall, and Patrick Welch unanimously approved change orders for CHA and BH+A design contracts, expanding the project to include the entire first floor, pool, secondary stairs, and additional elevator with minimum two public engagement sessions and one stakeholder meeting. The Board also unanimously approved a one-year contract with Worcester Regional Transit Authority for senior transportation program continuation at $77,302, with Kendra Faldetta, Senior Center Director, appointed as Westborough's representative to the WRTA Advisory Board.
