Select Board · Meeting of May 12, 2026

WESTBOROUGH — The Westborough Select Board advanced $345,000 in interdepartmental transfers for public works, water, and sewer infrastructure. The approvals include $110,000 for Bowman Lane paving and downtown sidewalk repairs, $125,000 for East Main Street water main repairs and Moore Street well rehabilitation, and $110,000 for a failed sewer pump station generator and downtown clay pipelining work. An additional $10,000 transfer funds equipment for the new Building Inspector position, which consolidates Sealer of Weights and Measures duties.

The Board unanimously authorized debt issuance not to exceed $12.5 million for the MetroWest Regional Emergency Communication Center, with debt service covered by state 911 grant funding. All votes were unanimous among the three members present.
