Select Board · Meeting of May 26, 2026
Westborough Select Board limits veteran memorial flags and approves Pride proclamation. The board voted unanimously May 26 to restrict flags at five veteran memorial locations to the United States and POW/MIA flags, while authorizing Chair Keogh to support a Department of Public Works Housing Works grant application for approximately $700,000 in sewer work. Votes also approved a seasonal liquor license for Broken Creek Vineyards and Spicy Water Distillery at the Westborough Farmers Market from June through October, a one-year waste management contract extension with Harvey's Waste Connections, and amendments to create an Armstrong Elementary loading zone on West Street.
By a 4-1 vote, with Member Patrick Welch dissenting, the board authorized Town Manager Williams to seek a state waiver to prohibit cannabis delivery services in the town.
