Westborough Select Board unanimously approves three job reclassifications and one cultural council appointment. Chair Ian Johnson led five-member board through the Treasurer's Office Administrative Assistant grade placement, a Part-time Community Development downgrade from Grade 2 to Grade 1, and a Senior Center Programs and Engagement Coordinator role expansion from 32 to 40 hours per week. Board also appointed Arlicia Miller to the Cultural Council with a term running through June 30, 2029.
Earlier, Finance Director Jon Steinberg presented the FY2027 budget projections during a public hearing; the board later debated whether to compress the citizens' petition deadline for Annual Town Meeting warrant articles from 60 to 45 days.
