WESTBOROUGH — MetroWest RECC Operations Committee selects Mark43 for regional dispatch and records system. The committee of fire chiefs from three member towns voted 6-0 to adopt Mark43 as the region's computer-aided dispatch and records management vendor. Executive Director Brian Smith recommended Mark43 after presenting a decision matrix comparing it with ProPhoenix; Smith noted the cloud-based system allows staggered implementation across departments.
The State911 grant covers first-year costs; ongoing expenses will be included in member towns' assessments. The committee also directed all three departments to transition to First Due for records management and approved Grafton's shift to Brix for station alerting.
