MetroWest RECC Board Advances Financing for Regional 911 Center

WESTBOROUGH — MetroWest RECC advances financing for regional 911 emergency center. Chair Kristi Williams and board members Evan Brassard and Mark Purple voted unanimously to authorize Executive Director Brian Smith to contact Locke Lord, Hilltop Securities, and MIIA for financial advising and bond counsel, and separately authorized Brassard and Smith to issue an RFP for legal services. The district is pursuing a $13,192,953 grant application for fiscal year 2027 to fund the regional center, with first-year operational costs projected at $267,972 and ongoing annual costs of $262,827.
