MetroWest RECC discusses CAD implementation and tower options

WESTBOROUGH — The MetroWest RECC Operations Committee discussed emergency communications infrastructure and CAD system implementation. Chair Andrew Puntini convened the May 19 meeting with five chiefs present: Neil Minardi, Patrick Purcell, Todd Minardi, Eric Mathieu, and Ryan Newell. Executive Director Brian Smith proposed forming a CAD implementation group with staff from each member community.
The committee discussed radio tower locations to address coverage gaps in South Grafton and considered the need for facilities at the RECC headquarters itself.
