Westborough Cultural Council plans Porchfest expansion with 16 band applications. The Cultural Council gathered 16 band applications and six host locations for its inaugural Porchfest in just one week of recruitment, prompting plans for multiple simultaneous performances at different locations. Chair Michelle French coordinated the effort with community support from Lori Diamond of Northborough and Polly Thayer of the Westborough Food Pantry.
The council will also fill three open leadership positions after three members announced resignations effective in June. Treasurer Maureen Johnson reported fund balances of $1,760 in town funds, $5,992 in state funds, and $45,620.20 in gift funds.
