Westborough Cultural Council plans Porchfest expansion with 16 bands

Westborough Cultural Council expands Porchfest to multiple simultaneous band performances. The event drew 16 band applications and six host offers in less than a week after Chair Michelle French posted applications on the town website and Cultural Council Facebook page. The council is coordinating volunteer Porch Managers, food-truck logistics, and printed maps.
The Westborough Food Pantry plans to host a band to highlight a newly painted mural. Treasurer Maureen Johnson reported combined fund balances of $53,372.20 across town, state, and gift accounts. Three council members are resigning when their terms end in June.
