WESTBOROUGH — Select Board approves climate roadmap, opens access to state grants. Westborough's Select Board unanimously approved the Climate Leaders Municipal Decarbonization Roadmap, positioning the town to access state technical support and implementation funding for electrification, energy efficiency, and renewable energy projects. The Board also approved $130,000 in interdepartmental budget transfers and unanimously amended the Open Forum Policy to ensure consistent public comment opportunities across all town appointed boards and committees in response to resident concerns about inconsistent implementation.
