MetroWest RECC District Approves Invoice Package, Eyes Bonding Options

WESTBOROUGH — MetroWest RECC District approves February invoice package, eyes bonding strategy. Chair Kristi Williams and member Mark Purple voted unanimously on March 17 to approve the invoice package for the period ending February 28, 2026. Williams flagged a critical operational question about bonding without direct income, given that State 911 funding is the district's sole revenue source.
Executive Director Brian Smith presented updates to the district's governance agreement, expanding the district's authority to take on new responsibilities, and outlined a revised staffing plan. Bryan Jarvis of Vertex presented the invoice package and reported on recent operational activity.
