Westborough Planning Board unanimously approves fitness club site plan at Oak Street. The Board granted full site plan review for a 26,000-square-foot building by McCarthy Companies on behalf of Westboro Tennis & Swim, subject to more than 40 conditions. Director of Planning Jenny Gingras said applicant Justin Leclair addressed all peer review comments across multiple plan revisions.

Required conditions include a relocated crosswalk at Oak Street and Chauncy Street, new sidewalks along portions of both streets, a speed feedback sign approved by the Police Chief, and all construction vehicles parked on-site. The Board also found the project will increase property tax revenue and is consistent with the town's Master Plan redevelopment goals.
