Westborough Advisory Finance approves $345,601 in mid-year transfers. The committee unanimously approved $250,000 from reserves for snow and ice expenses and $91,601.12 for salaries in snow and ice operations, with Finance Director Jon Steinberg noting the remainder of an originally anticipated $400,000 salary request would return to free cash. The committee also unanimously approved a $4,000 intradepartmental transfer within Youth and Family Services for an unbudgeted step increase, citing staffing shortages and lower utilization of contracted counseling services.
