WESTBOROUGH — Advisory Finance Committee reviews Fall Town Meeting warrant articles and gathers additional information. Finance Director Jonathan Steinberg reported that the cost of new permitting software has been reduced from approximately $70,000 to $38,000, with conversion costs to be covered by departmental budgets and ongoing licensing to remain an IT expense. Chair Prashant Ahuja noted that the library project remains on track and under budget.

The committee agreed to invite presentations from department representatives and Affordable Housing Trust Chair Allen Edinburg before voting on warrant articles.
