Overnight Ramp Closures, Lane Shift Hit I-495/I-90 Interchange
A westbound lane shift and overnight ramp closures hit the I-495/I-90 interchange this week as part of an ongoing improvement project that also affects neighboring Hopkinton. State transportation crews shifted I-90 westbound traffic at the I-495/I-90 interchange effective Aug. 18, with overnight ramp closures running from Aug. 17 through Aug. 20, according to a town advisory. The work affects both Westborough and Hopkinton and is tied to the broader I-495/I-90 Interchange Improvements Project.
Town Hall is also recruiting. The Economic Development Committee has one vacancy for a business leader, the town announced Aug. 18, inviting interested applicants to apply. Separately, officials are seeking residents curious about local government to apply for the Civic Leadership Academy, a program built to introduce participants to how the town operates.
