Westborough Youth Commission approves minutes and explores recruitment for three open adult positions. The seven voting members and one associate member present voted unanimously to adopt prior meeting minutes, then discussed transitioning meeting platforms from Zoom to Microsoft Teams and recruiting eighth through tenth graders to strengthen youth involvement. Youth and Family Services staff Julia O'Neil-Welch reported rising demand for food pantry assistance and basic needs services as SNAP benefits decline and families struggle with housing affordability.
