Westborough Veterans Office Flags New WooSox Recognition Program
Westborough's veterans services office, shared with the town of Grafton, used Tuesday's town alert system to spotlight a new Worcester Red Sox recognition program for local veterans.
TOWN HALL
The town's News Flash system posted an alert Tuesday from the shared Westborough-Grafton veterans services office pointing residents to the WooSox's "In Debt to a Vet" program, an initiative recognizing local veterans. The alert itself did not spell out specific benefits, directing veterans to the office for more information.
In an update to the ongoing I-495/I-90 interchange project, a Tuesday town advisory said the overnight ramp closures that ran Aug. 24-27 give way to a new eastbound traffic pattern taking effect Aug. 28.
