Westborough Affordable Housing Trust selects consultant for HB Cottages community workshop facilitation. The Trust unanimously approved a proposal for consultant services to plan and facilitate a community meeting aimed at identifying resident design preferences and priorities for the HB Cottages parcels. Two consultant firms had submitted proposals: Barrett Planning Group LLC at $9,975 and Innes Land Strategies Group at $19,805.
The Trust also voted unanimously to authorize Chair Allen Edinberg to finalize a memo recommending that the Planning Board consider either Option 2 or Option 3 for the Post Road Development project, with Option 3 calling for a $950,000 buydown and developer matching funds for infrastructure improvements. The 25 Connector Road LAU application for long-term rental affordable housing was unanimously approved, with the Trust authorized to maintain a local preference waitlist once units become available.
