Westborough Affordable Housing Trust authorizes 134 Fisher Street Local Action Units application. The Housing Partnership Committee voted unanimously to allow Chair Allen Edinberg to sign the LAU application for Phase 1 of an 18-unit rental development with four affordable units at $1,796 monthly rent. The Trust also voted unanimously to award JM Goldson LLC the HB Cottages community workshop contract and allocate $18,000 for facilitation; additionally authorized the Chair to apply for Massachusetts Housing Partnership technical assistance.

The Trust closed the 3 Baylor Avenue project, which received a Certificate of Occupancy this week, canceling $17,841 in outstanding subsidy allocation and releasing a $20,000 escrow plus accrued interest.
