WESTBOROUGH — Veterans Advisory Board approves prior minutes and confirms 2026 flag placement schedule. Chair Marshall Preston and Secretary Paul Horrigan led the May 11 meeting, with the board setting dates for flag placement and retrieval at veteran gravesites from April through November, including Memorial Day on May 16 placement and May 30 collection. Veterans Services Officer Jeff Farrell reported spending all allocated gift cards on benefits for 115 case veterans.
Memorial Day preparation is complete with all assignments confirmed among board members, and the VFW will provide food and an ice cream truck for the celebration.
