WESTBOROUGH — Sustainable Westborough unanimously backs energy code warrant article for March Town Meeting. The Specialized Energy Code would take effect in January 2027 and make the town eligible for up to 1.15 million dollars in state grants; Sustainability Coordinator Leila Ahmed is coordinating school composting initiatives and EV charger site recommendations with town officials. The committee also unanimously approved an 850-dollar budget for the Environmental Action Fair, which will feature a Rotary-sponsored student panel and may include clothing and book swaps.
