Select Board enters executive session on multiple litigations and real property

WESTBOROUGH — Select Board votes unanimously to enter executive session for litigation and property strategy. Chair Ian Johnson, Sean Keogh, Mark Silverberg, and Patrick Welch approved the 4-0 motion by Member Welch to discuss litigation strategy in nine cases, including matters involving Ferris Development Group LLC, Westborough SPE LLC, CarMax Auto Superstores Inc., and Akouete v. Goldsmith et al., as well as to consider real property at 231 Turnpike Road and 57 Brigham Street and to negotiate a contract with Todd Minardi.
Johnson declared an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the town's litigating position.
