Select Board enters executive session on labor and litigation strategy.

WESTBOROUGH — The Westborough Select Board unanimously voted to enter executive session to discuss labor and litigation strategy. Chair Ian Johnson, Vice Chair Shelby Marshall, and members Sean Keogh, Mark Silverberg, and Patrick Welch approved the closed session, which addressed collective bargaining strategy with the Patrol and Firefighter Unions, litigation related to CarMax Auto Superstores, Inc. v. Town of Westborough in Worcester Superior Court, and contract negotiations with non-union personnel.

Chair Johnson determined an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the town's negotiating and litigating positions.
