WESTBOROUGH — The Westborough Select Board unanimously entered executive session to discuss collective bargaining strategy with the Patrol Union and Firefighter Union. Chair Ian Johnson, Vice Chair Shelby Marshall, Sean Keogh, and Mark Silverberg voted 4-0 to close the meeting under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30A, Section 21(a)(3). Chair Johnson determined that conducting negotiations in open session would have a detrimental effect on the town's negotiating and litigating position.
