Westborough Select Board advances peace pole monument and restaurant licensing. The Board unanimously approved installation of a Peace Pole from Central One Federal Credit Union at Bay State Commons and granted a Section 12 All Alcohol liquor license to Mitti Chulha Indian Restaurant at 291 Turnpike Road, naming Jigar Patel as Manager of Record. Two affordable housing initiatives moved forward with authorization for Chair Sean Keogh to execute a Local Initiative Program Compliance Certificate for 1012 Bradish Lane and a Regulatory Agreement for 25 Connector Road.
The Board also voted 5-0 to approve a three-year collective bargaining agreement with the New England Police Benevolent Association covering July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028, and unanimously approved a Memorandum of Agreement with the School Committee for an operational efficiency study with Patrick Welch and Ian Johnson appointed to oversight roles. ===END BRIEF===
