Select Board approves liquor license for Indian restaurant, cultural mural, and farmers market alcohol sales.

Westborough Select Board approves liquor license and three community initiatives. The board unanimously granted Section 12 All Alcohol licensure to MYPI Foods LLC dba Chowrastha at 225 Turnpike Road, with Saravanan Natesan as Manager of Record. The board also voted unanimously to authorize a letter of support for the 495/Route 9 Gateway Initiative, a joint Westborough-Southborough application for a $150,000 Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities planning grant to study the Route 9 and Interstate 495 corridor.

The board approved off-premises alcohol sales by Westborough Farmers Market vendors from June 11 through October 8, 2026. The board appointed David Allman to the Cultural Council and Stephen Henry to the Conservation Commission, terms through June 30, 2029.
