WESTBOROUGH — Select Board approves alcohol service at Westborough Public Library Foundation event. The board unanimously authorized the Westborough Public Library Foundation to serve and sell alcohol from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on January 30, 2026, at 1500 Union Street, on the recommendation of Assistant Town Manager Kimberly Foster. Member Patrick Welch's motion included a waiver of the standard $50 fee.
The board then entered executive session to discuss real property negotiations and litigation strategy, with Chair Ian Johnson declaring open meeting would be detrimental to the town's position.
