Select Board approves additional vacation time for Police Chief Minardi

WESTBOROUGH — Select Board grants Police Chief Minardi an additional week of vacation. The Board unanimously approved the contract amendment 5-0-0, reversing its February 24 decision to decline the adjustment. Chair Ian Johnson, Vice Chair Shelby Marshall, Members Sean Keogh, Mark Silverberg, and Patrick Welch voted yes.
The Board subsequently entered Executive Session to discuss collective bargaining strategy with the Patrol Union, Firefighter Union, and all unions, voting 4-0-0 with Member Welch recused due to his wife's membership in the Town's Clerical Union.
