WESTBOROUGH — Recreation Commission approves prior minutes and delays EV charging presentation. The Recreation Department reported explosive growth in community center programming, with 963 programs and 4,754 registrations in 2025 compared to 391 programs and 3,626 registrations in 2024. Director Jennifer Kirkland announced twelve applications for Chauncy Lake lifeguarding and plans to potentially offer beach volleyball if staffing allows.
The golf course reopening depends on finalizing a new point-of-sale system contract after the previous agreement expired, though town meeting articles supporting golf operations have passed.
