WESTBOROUGH — The Westborough Public Art Committee held its first meeting and unanimously elected Anna Leduc Chair, Molly Kane Co-Chair, and Tracy Spadafora Secretary. The ten-member committee, meeting hybrid at Forbes Municipal Building, discussed potential projects including a public art highlight during September's Porch Fest and an art walk in local business windows, though members cited tight timelines and suggested deferring a larger walk to Spring 2027. The Committee also reviewed a proposed art installation near Town Hall and the Civic Club, requesting additional information from the Civic Club on vision, funding, and artwork type before advancing.
Members agreed to pursue funding information from the Town Manager and Cultural Council grant sources.
