Finance Committee approves $5.7 million high school roof project

WESTBOROUGH — Advisory Finance Committee backs $5.7 million high school roof project. The Westborough panel unanimously recommended the high school A and B wing roof replacement and rim repairs at its March 2 meeting. Committee members also approved multiple capital projects and commissioned studies totaling $1.2 million from free cash, including $200,000 for Memorial Hall audiovisual upgrades, $100,000 for a police organizational assessment, $50,000 for fire services regionalization, and $75,000 for school operational efficiency analysis.
Town Manager Kristi Williams told the committee the town projects $10 million in free cash after the 2026 Town Meeting.
