Economic Development Committee approves two $5,000 business grants.

WESTBOROUGH — Economic Development Committee unanimously approves two $5,000 grants to support growing Westborough businesses. TM Beauty, a newly opened salon at 276 Turnpike Road seeking funds for scalp equipment, and Trybe Fytness, which launched at 12 Union Street in October 2025 with showers and a smoothie bar, each received unanimous support. Chair Sandra Coker introduced a proposal for quarterly roundtable meetings to convene hospitality and manufacturing leaders, with the committee expressing general support and targeting a fall launch.

EDC Coordinator Lara Crawford reported Stretch Zone at Bay State Commons as January's only new business opening.
