Westborough Cultural Council advances Porchfest planning while deferring grant business. The Council met January 7 with guests Rick and Lauren Schiffman to discuss a potential June or September Porchfest featuring 10 to 15 acts in central blocks north of West Main Street; the Schiffmans are drafting graphics and a task list. Council member Jenny Silverberg proposed an Arts in Common web form for applications and noted a Community Advocate notice would likely generate strong interest.
Discussion of the grant reception venue and Arts in Common 2026 programming were both tabled pending full attendance at a second January meeting, with member Kent Anderson to survey availability.
