Westborough Finance Committee discusses $50,000 legal reserve transfer amid Regal Cinema litigation. Town Manager Kristi Williams presented the request to draw from the Advisory Finance Committee Reserve Fund to cover escalating legal expenses from multiple ongoing lawsuits, particularly litigation related to the former Regal Cinema property at 231 Turnpike Road. Williams indicated the Town anticipates requesting additional funding at Town Meeting and may include a warrant article to replenish reserves.
