Westborough unanimously backs $345,000 in fund transfers for emergency repairs. The Advisory Finance Committee approved $125,000 from the water enterprise fund for emergency paving following an East Main Street water main break and Moore Street well repairs; $110,000 from DPW for Bowman Lane paving and downtown sidewalk work; and $110,000 from the sewer fund for a failed pump station generator and main lining work. Finance Director John Steinberg noted all transfers represent savings from staffing vacancies, not new spending.
The committee unanimously nominated Terry O'Day as its School Efficiency Study representative.
