Westborough Advisory Finance Committee opens FY27 Annual Town Meeting warrant review. The committee, welcoming a large class of newly appointed members this fiscal year, convened to begin its preparation with a briefing from Town Manager Kristi Williams. Ms.
Williams addressed questions on the use of Free Cash, the distinction between one-time and recurring revenues, Other Post-Employment Benefits, stabilization funds, and public safety staffing studies. The committee also discussed a proposed town and school operational efficiency study and identified six categories of warrant articles requiring presentations from proponents at future meetings.
