Westborough Finance Committee approves Annual Town Meeting booklet before March 21 vote. The Advisory Finance Committee unanimously voted 7-0-0 to approve the final FY2027 budget booklet under Chair Prashant Ahuja, which includes a 4.17 percent increase for Westborough Public Schools and a 29.4 percent jump in the Assabet Valley Regional Vocational School assessment due to enrollment growth. The committee also unanimously authorized Ahuja and Vice Chair Andrew Bradley to purchase 400 copies of the Annual Town Meeting 2026 Report and Recommendations from Curry Printing.
A new firefighter position was added to cover military leave.
