250th Revolution Committee Plans Celebration Fireworks Display

250th American Revolution Anniversary Committee · Meeting of April 6, 2026

WESTBOROUGH — 250th American Revolution Committee advances planning for the town's celebration fireworks display and public event. The Committee met to review site selection with town officials and the fireworks vendor, with the Police Department set to deploy a drone for optimal viewing areas. Chair Roberta Brown and Member PJ Maloney will meet with Recreation Director Jenn Kirkland on April 7 to finalize the event run-of-show and discuss logistics including staff t-shirt pricing.

The Committee unanimously approved sending a member to communicate with the Economic Development Committee about the event and agreed to move forward with a full advertising campaign once the run-of-show is finalized. The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for May 4, 2026.
