WESTBOROUGH — 250th Anniversary Committee approves event invoices and recommends $4K surplus transfer. The committee voted unanimously to pay $26,000 to American Thunder for fireworks, $400 to Lessons on Liberty for a Benjamin Franklin presentation, plus outstanding portable restroom and personnel costs for DPW, Police, and Fire, with Chair Roberta Brown authorized to process all remaining invoices. Town Manager Kristi Williams reported approximately $4,000 would remain after all anticipated expenses, and the committee unanimously recommended transferring the surplus to the Fourth of July Block Party account, subject to Town Meeting approval.
